Uk undercurrent is a community for all alternative music-lovers who want to help spreading the word about their favourite artists online, at shows and in their local area. As a member of UK undercurrent you can earn free gig tickets, signed and rare merch or the chance to meet your favorite artists.

UK undercurrent is the community for all genuine music lovers. UK undercurrent grants you insider information and news about new artists and releases. You will always know what is going on before your friends will. You will simply be one step closer to everything that is happening in the music industry.

In order to join UK undercurrent you have to dig music! There are many projects and campaigns you can participate in. Or you can just check out the latest bands, artists and releases or chat with friends in your profile or the forum.

Your online profile lets you state your favourite bands, artists and music so you can easily find new people and new bands.

Nothing! On the contrary: You will get something out of being a member at UK undercurrent. You earn points for every project or campaign you participate in. With these points you can then “buy” concert tickets, t-shirts or merchandise, which you can find inside our “specials shop”.

Once you are a registered member of UK undercurrent you can enlist in projects for various artists. You can find out which projects are open for registration inside the “projects” section. On the “projects” site you will also find all necessary information concerning the kind and duration of the projects, telling you what you can do in order to score points. All projects have feedback forms with which you can send us a report of your activities. For successful proof of your participation (i.e. photos of sticker campaigns, links to websites you posted banners on, etc.) we will give you points.

There are different ways in which you can support your artists on UK undercurrent. Namely:
-Street projects: posting of stickers, distribution of flyers, etc.
- Online projects: Online promotion, Banners or videos for MySpace sites, Send-A-Friend campaigns, etc.
- Votings: Voting for artists on MTV, VH1 or the Radio
It is up to you which projects you want to support. We will transfer points to your account for any project you participate in.

You can use your points to “buy” exclusive merchandise, concert tickets, signed items or even a get-together with your favourite artist. You will find all articles in the „Specials Shop“ section of your profile.
